Crown Milling provides two distinct drying technologies: Standard Flash Dryers and Milling Flash Dryers

Standard Flash Dryers
Provides efficient drying of a variety of fine and coarse materials including: Fibers, Fish Meal, Clay, Metallic Powders, Pigments, Polymers, Grains and Starches.
Additional features include:

• Uniform product treatment due to even material dispersion in hot air streams
• Disperser ventilator for breaking up large agglomerates without producing fines
• One moving part in airstream minimizes maintenance costs

Milling Flash Dryers
For drying materials where a discrete and fine end product is desired including: Powders, Filter and Centrifuge cakes, Back-mixed Slurries, Pigments, Zeolite and Calcium Carbonate.
Additional features include:

• No moving parts: particle-to-particle collisions achieve fine product
• Jet milling principles preserve particle distribution present in wet feed
• Slurries atomized directly in dryer when desired
