presses

A screw press consists of a continuous, helical thread that revolves within a stationary, perforated cylinder. As the shaft turns, there is a reduction in volume that results in pressure in the pressing section. The extracted oil flows through the slots distributed over the barrel circumference. The foots-laden extracted oil collected in the oil pan is delivered to the crude oil cleaning section. Oil cake leaves the screw press through an adjustable conical annular cross-section and is then delivered to the further process stages.

Types of Presses

Cold Presses

Cold presses are designed for single-finish pressing without seed preheating, or for pressing at low temperatures. The cold press processes cleaned seed that has been crushed according to its type, as well as uncrushed feedstock.

Finish Presses

Finish presses are designed for single-finish pressing without following extraction. The finish press processes cleaned, crushed and hydro-thermally prepared seed.

Pre-Presses

Pre-presses are designed for pre-pressing in preparation for extraction, or as the pre-stage for secondary pressing operation. The pre-press processes clean, crushed and hydro-thermally prepared seed.
